Our partner NALIS Foundation organized in the framework of the Europeana Photography project a workshop dedicated to the interpretation of ancient photography and to the holdings of some important Bulgarian photo archives (Sofia, Central Library of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, 29 October 2013).

The workshop  - that is one of the events that celebrate the 125 years of the Sofia University – gathered contributions from outstanding Bulgarian cultural institutions like the National Museum of Literature, the Institute of Art Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Ivan Vazov Public Library in Plovdiv.

On this occasion the NALIS Foundation illustrated EuropeanaPhotography and its role as coordinator of many Bulgarian archives , libraries, museums and private collections that are digitizing their content for the project.
